Privacy policy

Your progress stays with you
Campaign progress, settings, saved expeditions, and Forge challenges are stored on your device. Cryptward has no developer-operated account or gameplay server, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or tracking. We do not collect your gameplay data on our servers.
Optional cooperative play
Nearby play exchanges a session identity, party choices, and gameplay state with the other players through Apple's encrypted local networking. Online play uses Apple Game Center for authentication and matchmaking, and exchanges player identifiers and game state to run the session. These services are optional; the solo campaign and Forge work without signing in. Apple handles its services under its own privacy policy.
Challenge files you share
Exporting a Forge challenge opens the system share sheet only when you choose to share. The file includes map geometry and details such as its title and creator label. Recipients can keep and share that file. Avoid placing personal information in challenge titles or creator labels.
Your choices
You can leave a cooperative session, decline local network access, or manage Game Center in your device settings. Delete saved challenges in the Forge. Deleting the app removes its local app data on iPhone and iPad; files you exported and any device backups are managed separately. Cryptward does not create a developer account that needs to be deleted.

Email art@timothynice.com for support or privacy questions. Include your device, OS version, and the steps needed to reproduce a problem. If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to send and use it to respond. Do not include passwords or other sensitive information.
Policy updates
Changes to these practices will be reflected in this policy with an updated date.
