Getting started
Choose Enter the crypt from the Sanctuary and follow the Warden guide. Move with the left stick and hold the right stick to aim and fire. Releasing the aim stick stops firing. Restore the wards, break enemy nests, find the key for the exit chamber, and reach the portal.
Difficulty and controls
Settings provides Gentle mode, Reduced effects, audio and haptic controls, and touch control customization. The Warden field guide explains each class and its abilities. The game supports landscape play, keyboard controls, and compatible game controllers.
Saves and challenges
Progress and saved expeditions stay on your device. The Forge lets you create, validate, save, playtest, import, and export challenge files. Export important custom maps before deleting the app. Exported files and device backups are managed separately from the app's local data.
Cooperative connections
All players should use the same app version and build. Nearby sessions need Local Network access, which can be managed in device Settings. Online sessions use Apple Game Center. Check Game Center sign-in if online matchmaking is unavailable. Leave the party and try again if a connection is interrupted. The solo campaign and Forge work without signing in.
Privacy
Cryptward has no advertisements, analytics SDK, tracking, or in-app purchases. Read the full Privacy & support policy inside Settings. Apple services, user-initiated map sharing, and support emails are explained there.
